Link Honored as an ENERGY STAR® Executive Member

Recognized as part of ENERGY STAR®’s Certification Nation campaign

New York – December 8, 2022 – Link was recently honored as an Executive Member of ENERGY STAR®’s Certification Nation, a one-time recognition campaign that celebrates the ENERGY STAR® program’s 30th anniversary. Certification Nation highlights property owners who have certified five or more buildings in 2022, with Executive Member status reserved for owners who certify at least 50 buildings.

Link owns the most ENERGY STAR®-certified industrial properties in the U.S., having certified 53 buildings representing 10.1 million square feet to date this year. Link owns over one third of the total 2022 ENERGY STAR®-certified properties across the three industrial asset classes—more than Link’s next nine peers combined.

In May, Link made history as the first company in the industrial real estate sector to receive the 2022 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year award. Link aims to benchmark 100 percent of energy use across the firm’s portfolio.

A building becomes eligible for certification if it scores 75 or higher within ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager, indicating its energy efficiency rating from 1-100 across all other U.S. buildings of the same type. Link is currently featured on ENERGY STAR®’s leaderboard, which highlights our 53 certified buildings and Executive Member status.
